Event Description: The "Hack Beyond the Code" workshop is an interactive full-day event designed as a hackathon, where participants will have the opportunity to contribute to a toolbox aimed at supporting educators in teaching AI Literacy and students in learning or practicing it.
The day will begin with an inspirational talk on AI Literacy and a discussion on the ethical implications of AI use. Following a brief ideation session, teams will form and collaborate on their projects. The organizers of the hackathon will provide support throughout the workshop. The day will end with group presentations of their created artifacts.
The workshop will produce a toolbox, available as an online repository with accompanying documentation to aid in creating AI Literacy training materials. The event will be promoted and disseminated through a website shared with participants and the public before the AIED conference, and maintained post-workshop to ensure sustainability.
Looking forward to meeting you there!
