You can convert all spc files in the spc_folder folder to wav format by creating and running a batch (.bat) file as shown below.

example.bat:

FOR %%F IN (spc_folder\*.spc) DO CALL start /wait spcplay.exe -wav "%%F"

Using playlists is certainly another option.
However, playlists can contain files in multiple folders, and files with the same name may be mixed together, which introduces various programming considerations.

Also, converting many files at once can make it difficult to revert to the original state if something goes wrong, so it is generally recommended to convert files one at a time.
It is a bit of a hassle, but safe.
