Need ability to perform windows update during build and not as a last customisation step

We need to install some agents using inline script and repo files as the last customisation step as we need to make sure the agent service is stopped in the image.

Currently windows udpate is performed at the end, VM is rebooted and hence our agent service gets started.

Hi Daniel,

Hope you are doing well? Is there any active work going on for this enhancement request? We are using Azure DevOps task to update our images, but in case of windows we have to do it manually because we need some softwares installed on them just before syspre.
