Authentication with edugain / orcid

May I suggest offering authentication through edugain (and/or orcid)? That would offer one-step sign up, single-sign-on and federated id for many (most?) scientist in academia which are presumably a major target group for curvenote.com.

We are currently developing ORCID support, and are doing that at the moment actually. :)
