Pending Stable Image

For several weeks I have been trouble shooting failed Ubuntu Core 24 image burning on CM5. Image burns fine of course but it will not boot. It fails on file system issues (e.g. when trying to extend or create the core partitions).

I recently tried to use the image under the pending folder above......and it worked!! Ubuntu Core 24 booted fine.

The 'current' folder image dates back to 2024 while the pending one is 2026.

Can anyone help explain exactly what fixed this? I am struggling to get the 2024 current image to work at all with some (e.g. PiShop) CM5's.

Forgot to mention this is a CM5 w/32GB eMMC
