Powershell/Command Line says "password incorrect" despite working in GUI

Attempting to send my password via command line says "password incorrect" when entered with or without the -p command, from clipboard or otherwise, but the same parameters work fine in the GUI. I initially thought it was because of a BLANK SPACE in one of my passwords, and I tried several attempts at quoting it in with no success, but then I attempted with a password that does not have any blank spaces, but is also extremely long >63 characters and I have the same issue. I'm not sure now if it's a length issue or special characters issue (or something else entirely).

Is there anything I can do to look into this further?

It appears that the issue is double quotation mark ("). The length and other special characters I used are fine when pasted, but pasting with " in it breaks it. Not sure how it can be passed in a string through -p with other characters like ` and ' though...

Looks like using """ instead of " works...

This is could now a security concern!
For the time being I am string replacing the " 's in my script BUT I suspect this is now a security vulnerability where the " can be used to pass command line/powershell arguements for anyone using the ctl.exe as an automated prompt for users.

I attempted to enter the password when prompted as asdf"hello>test.txt"asdf but this did not output in either the directory I was running in nor the cppcryptfs directory.
