• Life Cycle including the stage generation of Calanus Simillimus is interesting to observe. Also, it is most abundant in the Sub-antarctic waters to the North of the Polar Front among the three dominant Copepods [ Calanoides Acutus, Calanus Simillimus and Rhincalanus Gigas ]
• Get to know about their seasonal migration in the above-said region in different stages of their life and during their mating season ( in spring). Composition in population in the early spring season (mainly consists of C-V stage and adult females). Their population distribution in different seasons concerning depth variation.

• Sampled the data from 'Discovery' Programme that obtained one of the most extensive series of samples ever collected from the Southern Ocean, that sampling every year between 1925 and 1939 and again in 1950-1951.
• Net Samples were taken from 72 stations but their coverage was good only in summer and autumn. Winter sampling was mainly outside the Scotia Sea, so this required choosing one of the winters transects from the Indian Ocean Sector.
• After this, they perform their analysis of their depth variation in its different stages of life.
