File Explorer cannot expand folders beyond the second level

Environment

• OS: Windows 11 and Debian 13 Plasma 6
• Version: 0.4.4

Problem

File Explorer can only expand the root directory and first-level subdirectories of the current project, but cannot expand when clicking on second-level subdirectories.

Good catch @Yoda-Moze; I am also noticing this one, on Mint Linux 22

I have been watching the console ( opening athas from CLI ) and seeing no errors that seem to explain it either
