Support for SSO via microsoftonline and MFA

Does Atata support single-sign on via https://login.microsoftonline.com/? Is there a workaround for MFA or it has to be disabled?

Atata doesn't have any additional SSO features on top of WebDriver. Basically, if you have a working solution for MS SSO using pure Selenium WebDriver, I can help you apply that solution to Atata. Adapting to Atata will be easy, you can configure WebDriver whatever you need.

And also yes, if you can disable or somehow get around MS SSO in your app for UI test automation run, I would do that.

I can say as someone who uses Atata to test a web app that uses Entra ID SSO, is that the only real seamless solution is to use a special test account that has MFA disabled or to test against a special dev version of the app in a dedicated Test zone that uses some form of integrated auth, like Kerberos or even old-school NTLM.

The only thing I would add is that 'built-in support' for SSO is kind-of very hard to add in as Microsoft can change the login form at any time.

This is the new login form they're rolling out as of early 2025; I've started to see it on my personal logins, but now am seeing it on my corporate accounts.
