boot-partition only contains a 1kb "issue" file

Cloned and ran your repo today following all instructions as stated in the readme file. All scirpts ended ok and generated a 2gig image file. If I write this image to an SD card, the boot partition only contains one file. It's the issue file created in stage 3.

Any hints?

I'm seeing the same thing after following the directions through wheezy-stage3, then running export_image_for_release.
