Fetching content from private github repo

I would like to use this tool (which works great by the way) to fetch markdowns from a private github repo, what is the best way to achieve this as there is a need to pass auth token for the file path ?

also, it could be great if there was ability to fetch `md` files by pattern for a single remote url path, is this something you think about ?
