Citrix Workspace doesn't work if Caffeine is run BEFORE workspace?

I had Caffeine set to start with my computer. After reboot, I couldn't get a vdi session to trigger from the browser. I quit caffeine and then my vdi sessions can open. My guess is that caffeine started before workspace and maybe it's blocking access to the citrix DLL? Using workspace 2010. Now I just need to trigger caffeine manually after a reboot.
