Description
Enable CUA to address overheating, fan noise, and thermal management issues through automated diagnostic and maintenance actions.
Persona: ALL
Acceptance Criteria
- User can request thermal diagnostics via natural language (e.g., "My laptop is hot", "The fan is loud", "Reduce fan noise", "Cool down my laptop")
- CUA automatically orchestrates multiple MCP tools in appropriate sequence:
- Diagnose system capability and thermal status
- Dust defender start (clean fans if appropriate)
- Silent system usage mode enable (reduce heat generation and fan noise)
- All tool calls complete successfully or provide clear error messages
- User receives clear explanation of thermal status and actions taken
- CUA can suggest additional actions if thermal issues persist
Dependencies
- Depends on Computer Use Desktop Control Agent (CUA) - MCP Client Integration #224 (Computer Use Desktop Control Agent - CUA)
- Requires MCP server with thermal monitoring and dust defender tools available
Success Metrics
- Single natural language request diagnoses and addresses thermal issues
- Fan noise reduction measurable
- Temperature reduction measurable
- Users can resolve thermal problems without technical knowledge
