"body": "## Welcome to TopMod Lab.\r\nWe are interested in topological modeling, shape modeling and computer aided sculpting. \r\n\r\n\"My work on a topological mesh modeling has resulted in a powerful manifold mesh modeling system, called TopMod. By using TopMod, high genus manifold shapes can easily be constructed. The initial version of the software, TopMod has been available as free software since 2007. Since then, many talented artists created very interesting sculptures TopMod. I also have a significant body of work in modeling non-orientable surfaces and cyclic woven structures. My current research works include finding new ways for physical construction of large scale complicated shapes.\"\r\n-- Dr. Ergun Akleman\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\n## Software Releases\r\nA list of softwares we developed can be found here:\r\n### [TopMod](https://sites.google.com/site/topmod3d/) \r\n\r\n[Click here](http://www.viz.tamu.edu/faculty/ergun/research/topology/TopMod2.5.zip) to download latest version v2.5. \r\n[Click here](http://www.viz.tamu.edu/faculty/ergun/research/topology/TopMod.zip) to download v1.0. \r\nSee all available downloads on [Google Code Archive](https://code.google.com/archive/p/topmod/).\r\n\r\n### Unfolding\r\n[Click here](https://github.com/TopModLab/Unfolding/releases/latest) to download lastest version. \r\nSee all versions on [Github](https://github.com/TopModLab/Unfolding/releases).\r\n\r\n### Shady\r\n\r\n### Woven\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\n## Research\r\n### TopMod\r\n**Source Code:** \r\n<http://code.google.com/p/topmod/> \r\n<https://github.com/TopModLab/TopMod> (ported from Google Code Archive) \r\n\r\n**Publications:** \r\nE.
