python is needed

It seems in addition to node.js python is needed. Which python version do i need? I installed python-3.6.4 and set some environment variables. But i still get the following error:
gyp ERR! stack Error: Can't find Python executable "'C:\Program Files (x86)\Python36-32\python.exe'", you can set the PYTHON env variable.

It seems python 2.7 is needed (it wont work with python 3.6). Python and the most of the other needed stuff can be installed on windows with the following command:
npm install --global windows-build-tools
