Description
For most cases - like buying an egg bomb at a shop or picking up a shiny, it makes sense to just blow the player up. But when this mod is used with journal rando, it can make certain areas extremely difficult to traverse if you get an unlucky roll.
In my case, the Belfly journal entry reward was an egg bomb. Since that triggers whenever one dies, and it triggers on top of me, it meant that Belflys were basically guaranteed to do 2 damage to me whenever one triggered - regardless of how or where it died. Extremely oppressive, and with no real counterplay besides avoiding triggering any without at least 3 health.
I'm guessing that the complexity of the journal entry "locations" makes this difficult to solve, but it'd be really nice if killing an enemy that has an egg bomb entry caused the bomb to go off where the enemy is when it dies instead of on the player.
If this is an issue that's better taken up with the Journal Rando, just let me know.
