Add upstream status

It may be helpful to have a section in the software map that describes the upstream status, strategy or progress. This would help people understand the work being done, as well as how well the software has already been integrated upstream.

We should also list, apart from the upstream version the CHERI port is based on, the current upstream latest version so the diff can be visible with zero effort. This is now buried within the text - and also not always given.
