JourneyMap + Controlify Support - 26.1 Release

What happened?

Hi MysticDrew -

When I'm using Controlify & JourneyMap together, the game is crashing. Both work well independently of each other, but when combined it is crashing. This is on the new 26.1 release with both JourneyMap and Controlify's 26.1 JAR. Happy to provide any additional details if it helps. It was working with both on 1.21.11 and both work by themselves with all the other mods I have installed on 26.1. I've also tried removing all other mods but those 2 and it still crashes.

I really enjoy JourneyMap, and appreciate you taking a look to see what may be the challenge. I've also messaged Controlify's creator as I don't know the root issue. Thanks for all you do!

I can't upload the journeymap.log file. I'm guessing because it's 157MB?

can you share part of your journeymap.log file? If it is that big there is a problem with it and I need to see.

Controlify was disabled because there was no release for it when I released JourneyMap. I'll add it for the next release now that there is a release for it.
But please please get me part of your journeymap.log so I can see what is going on with it.

I've been switching back and forth and enabling JourneyMap and disabling Controlify when I need it, so the last JourneyMap log file appears to be earlier today even though I just tried to load both together and got the crash again.

Do you have an email or another way I can send the log direct to you?

If you enable the Controlify support in the next release now that they have released their 26.1 file, I am guessing that will resolve the issue and would make sense to as why I'm getting the crash.

No, I don't need the whole file.

Open the file in your text editor, put the cursor at the very top, then scroll down a bit, maybe 5-10 pages wroth of text. press shift and click. It will highlight a section of the text. press control+c to copy it.
Next, right click in the folder, select create new text file.
Open it.
then in there press control+v to paste, then press control+s to save.

Now you have a section of that file to drop into this issue.

That file resets every time you start minecraft, so it has a lot of errors in I need to see not related to controlify.

aah okay you're playing on a realms server? Your log is filled with that log spam, which I am hoping to have fixed for the next release, but I do not have aa realms server to test on.

For what it's worth, it works great on its own on the Realm Server, no issues

It also worked together with Controlify on 1.21.11. It's just the latest release on 26.1 that they don't work together. Both work independently of each other though.

Yes I know...
Controlify was not released for 26.1 so I had to remove support for the first couple releases, it is added and I will release it to night after I can verify the realms server issue is resolved.

It is not working fine on realms servers, your logs is full of errors related to realms server

Got it. Maybe I should restate that it has been playable on the Realms server and I have been using it. There may be issues, but they haven't been noticeable for how I was using the map. I've really enjoyed it and appreciate all the support!
