I attempted this PR a few weeks ago which was closed without action, because at that time I was submitting on behalf of my custom SPAN integration, and they stopped accepting/including custom-integration-artwork...

Unfortunately, the core requirement is to submit a single platform at a time (sensors, switches, selects, services, etc).

I did a lot of work to comply with their standards and style but I'm mot willing to hand code a massive breakup and piecemeal submission that would literally take a year or more of back and forth. The ROI is just not there and the submissions themselves would not be something anybody would use until Humpty Dumpty was all back together. And really the tightly coupled HA model is not one Apple or Microsoft uses for a reason - App stores are the norm.

I'll pull back the changes I did make if they provide stability over the long haul and aren't disruptive but otherwise core is a dead end IMHO. I already have a branch with the local brand images.
