Description
It is very natural for a lot of applications to want to deactivate a credential. Examples where this is required or preferred:
- any organization where membership is not permanent: unions, home owners associations, partnerships
- revoking credentials, for instance when someone lost their credential and still wants to vote
To make such a voting system useful, it really ought to have a mechanism where you can put a retired credential onto a blocklist and require a proof that your credential is not on the blocklist.
