New Paint Project Crash

OS/device including version:
Windows 11 pro, Laptop NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super GPU 8gb vram
NVIDIA Drivers are the latest studio ones

Issue description:
Tried to open a new paint project, the entire program crashes almost immediately (within the same amount of time every time though)

Steps to reproduce:
Open the program, file>new paint project>256x size, low poly mesh(trying to texture a simple branch lol), the program closes after showing the paint ui for about one second.
