Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
Short Summary of the expected behavior:
The Krake operates normally on any one input type. WiFi is not required for operation on a COM port interface or SPI interface.

Short Summary of the buggy behavior:
The LCD Splash cannot be called with out a WiFi connection.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load Code version 0.47 into Krake.
  2. Turn off the WiFi access point.
  3. Power on Krake and monitor Serial
  4. The Krake comes up in AP.
  5. Issue commands on the serial monitor but Krake is not responsive. See screen shot below.

Expected behavior
A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
The Krake should have responded to Serial Monitor (and COM and SPI commands)
