Environment data
PS Version: 5.1.19041.5965
PS HostName: ConsoleHost
PSReadLine Version: 2.0.0-beta2
PSReadLine EditMode: Windows
OS: 10.0.19041.1 (WinBuild.160101.0800)
BufferWidth: 120
BufferHeight: 3000
Steps to reproduce
- open vs code
- Use command print on python
- enter and see the terminal
Expected behavior
When the Python script containing print("Hii") is executed in the VS Code integrated terminal:
The terminal should open (if not already open).
The output "Hii" should be displayed correctly.
No System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException or any other error should occur.
The PowerShell prompt should return, allowing for further input.
Actual behavior
When the Python script containing print("Halo, dunia!") is executed in the VS Code integrated terminal:
The System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException occurs and is displayed in the terminal.
The exact error message is:
System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: The value must be greater than or equal to zero and less than the console's buffer size in that dimension.
Parameter name: left
Actual value was -2.
