Feature Request: Direct control from web interface

Would it be possible to add a tab in the ORP dashboard to allow for direct control of the repeater? For example, have a "Testing" tab and in that page, have a button that when pressed triggers the controller to key the repeater and transmit the repeater ID? It would also be nice to have a "dot" that shows red for "not triggered" and green for "triggered". These would be linked to the PTT and COR.

The pipe dream would be have some kind of VU meter showing audio input levels, percent analog input levels, and digital input and output status. Granted, I am thinking of this application in relation to the ICS Pi 1x and 2x interface board.

SVXLink already supports sending "DTMF" commands via the command line using a properly configured PTY. You'd have to look that up in the SVXLINK documentation if you wanted to tinker with it on the side.

In my ORP development code I was already messing with a GUI to be able to pass DTMF commands via the UI. This utilizes the PTY of SVXLink. You should be able to send a star command to SVXLink to force it to identify.
