Option to disable dithering on wayland

On my main monitor some colors (dark colors and I also use dark mode) vibrate because of dithering, this happens both on wayland and x11 but on x11 you can easily disable this, but on wayland (as far as i know) you can't disable it. Is there a way to disable dithering on wayland?

I've spent the last few days after getting my 4070 super trying to figure why I also had that issue. Same reasoning being the dithering setting being enabled on wayland with no way to turn it off.

Edit: nvibrant 1.1+ now supports ATTRIBUTE=dithering uvx nvibrant, disabling it on all monitors by default!

It can be done with my related repo to set vibrance without depending on wayland with this redditor's comment 🙂

Get my repo, edit nvibrant/main.cpp and replace the lines at the bottom to:

setDpyAttr.request.attribute    = NV_KMS_DPY_ATTRIBUTE_REQUESTED_DITHERING;
setDpyAttr.request.value        = NV_KMS_DPY_ATTRIBUTE_REQUESTED_DITHERING_DISABLED;

Compile it and run, you can name it nodither or something, follow my readme guide on autostarting too!
