Hello,
I am using the package „R2MultiBUGS“ to run MultiBUGS.
While running a model, the log file showed “BugsMaster:LinkingFailure script command modelDistribute failed“

Could you please let me know how to fix this issue?

Hi, I got the same error as yours. Do you have any suggestions on fixing this issue? Everything looks normal before the error message "BugsMaster:LinkingFailure". When I use the MultiBUGS software instead of the R2MultiBUGS to run the same model with the same data, no error showed. I am so confused about where the error comes from. Thanks!

I fixed this issue on my laptop by moving the MultiBUGS installation folder into a directory where I have permission to write. Based on the information from the MultiBUGS official website, within the installation directory, MultiBUGS creates a new BugsWorker.exe every time a model is run (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\MultiBUGS-2.0\BugsWorker.exe). But I used my lab laptop and I didn't have write permission for my installation directory. After I moved the installation into a directory that I have the write permission, the error of "Linking Failure" is gone. I hope this is helpful to people who also encounter this issue.
