How do I get this working?

I understand that I've got to put a file with in ~/.mozilla/extensions/ but what does this mean "laverna-19299879@example.org" ? Obviously I have to replace the "example.org" with an address, but what address? I'm a bit confused. How exactly do I install this extension? Is it possible for the developers to put the extension on Firefox's Addon Store?
