Connect to windows vm??

Working through the install and it states to connect to the windwos 10 vm in order to update logbeat.
How?? :)

Running ubu server is headless so there is no gui.
The vm is embedded on an internal IP that is inaccessible outside of the vm.

How exactly are you supposed to connec to the windows vm? The instructions read like you want to RDP to it.

yeah same question. Built PurpleLab in an Ubuntu Server VM on an isolated VLAN 10.7.77.x but the Windows VM shows IP 10.0.2.65 and I don't have any routing for this in my network. Are we suppose to RDP into the Windows VM somehow?

VirtualBox has a built-in RDP feature. You must use a VNC viewer or RDP application that supports the VNC protocol. When you connect to the Windows VM use :3389 (ex: 192.168.100.100:3389). If you do not specify the port number, the VNC application will use port 5900.
