It's a great effect but with a bigger monitor and smaller text, the visibility of the text is reduced. It would be cool if I could increase the transparency at least a little bit.

Alternatively you could add a mode with less snow. Anyway I appreciate the mod.

Could you provide a screenshot? I use FHD.

I could provide a filter config entry, which user could tweak himself, ex. to archive red flakes, but I would need to test this first. (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/filter)

But I guess transparency option could be nice too.

This is probably mostly affected in white text themes, as with black text this isn't such as issue.
