The idea behind this would be to do 3 things:

  • Enable fog of war, so players cannot see each other.
  • The level will be entirely contained in a cave-like system
  • Each Kobold will take their turn sequentially per round, so you move your team as one

The idea would be to turn the game on its head and be more focused on survival than damage given. You cannot see the other teams so must advance and plan ahead, rather than taking pot shots.

This would give the game a bit of an XCOK feel, but still with the same movement system as Worms that allows for creative ideas.

Probably would also set the per round timer to something like a minute to give the player a chance to move all their units. Likely this would be teams of 3-4 max.
