Seeing the following error fail for quite a while, and then it says uploaded, but remains USB BOOT in Device Manager

Uploading firmware to ov580 camera...
Control transfer error: Unknown error jur jur

That message happens when it is connected to a USB 2.0 port. It only works when connected to a USB 3.0 port.

Actually, the USB 2.0 port is the only one detecting the camera. Nothing works in the 3.2 port. In the USB 2.0 it at least pops up with the USB BOOT. In the 3.0 slot it says it "malfunctions." Pretty sure doing this permanently bricked my camera. This is what I see when in the 3.2 slot

i've tried uninstalling it, running "OV580 USB Camera updated," then plugging in again and nothing.

Should it work in a USB 3.2 slot? I think that's the one that's giving me issues. I have two other blue usb ports on the back of my desktop, but they just say "USB." I'm assuming those are 3.0 because they are blue though, except that port is resulting in the same jur jur error.

Try this:
Unplug the PS camera
Open device manager > view > show hidden devices
Under "Universal serial bus", delete all the greyed devices.
Under "Universal Serial Bus Devices", delete the USB Boot
You can delete the Intel USB 3.20 driver too. It will be installed again once you reboot the PC.
Reboot the PC and connect it to a USB 3.X on your PC. Not into the USB 2.0.

Maybe the BIOS is treating those USB ports as legacy USB 2.0. Check the BIOS. Maybe a BIOS update can solve this issue.

Just tried all this, plugging into the 3.2 port is still giving a malfunction for port reset failed.

Should i plug only in USB3.0 or USB3.2 is fine. everytime in OBS I need run the process from the start. Some times I need to plug out and re plug in to make it work any fix for this

I've already tried all the procedures and still won't work listed above. The version from 2022 used to work just fine, something happened from then. Can anybody help?
