Request for neo4j 2025 ver

We are currently using neo4j community ver 2025, and wondering if it is prossible to let dozerdb upgrate to support this version. Or how maybe there are procedures to build by our own.

Thanks for the note, and glad you’re enjoying the project!

We’ve had a few people ask about supporting the monthly Neo4j releases. For now, we’ve been focusing on the LTS versions since those are what most production deployments use.

That said, we can put together a HOWTO guide so you can build DozerDB against other versions yourself. It’s not too difficult, though depending on how much the Neo4j API or models have changed from the LTS, there might be some updates needed in the dozerdb-core project.

Right now, our main focus is on the next big release and finishing testing, but I’ll keep this ticket open until we publish the HOWTO.

If you’re a Java developer comfortable with Maven, it’s essentially a standard build process with a few extra steps to link everything together.

We are going to be pushing right after our next release. We have been focused on finishing some major updates and then will be pushing documentation such as the HOWTO.
