NOTE: This manual is better viewed within the visualizer - there's a button called "Manual" in the bottom-left corner that has video previews of all the actions.
This viewer renders a chain of named layouts built from composition, products, and inverses, and lets you inspect how cells map across every visible tensor in that chain.
Left click + drag: create a new selection.Shift + left click + drag: add cells to the current selection.Ctrl + left click + drag: remove cells from the current selection.Clickon empty space: clear the current selection.
Selections are paired across the visible tensors in the current render chain. Selecting cells in one tensor highlights the mapped cells everywhere else.

The Inspector widget shows information for the cell under the cursor:
- hovered tensor
- root input coordinate
- current tensor coordinate
- root input coordinate in binary
- current tensor coordinate in binary
- tensor shape
- rank
For compose-layout tabs, Root Input Coord is the coordinate in the input space of the rendered operation, and Current Tensor Coord is the coordinate in the hovered tensor itself.

Show Matrix displays the matrices for the named layouts and intermediate temporaries used to evaluate the current tab.
- It is tab-specific.
- It updates when the layout is rendered or when you switch tabs.
- Row and column labels are color-coded to match the dimension-line colors.
Video:
- Click a tab to switch layouts.
Add New Tabduplicates the current tab as a new editable tab.- Click the
xon a tab to close it. - Each tab stores its own specifications, layout operation, input tensor name, visible tensors, slicing state, color settings, and cell-text settings.
Video:
Use the Tensor View widget to change the active tensor view and slice hidden axes.
- Edit the
View Stringto permute or hide axes. - Use the slice sliders to move through hidden-axis indices.
For compose-layout tabs, slicing one tensor filters the corresponding visible cells in every other visible tensor in the render chain.
Video:
Use the Color Mapping widget to control the cell colors.
- Drag the
H,S, andLchips to swap which root-input axis drives each channel. - Drag labels from
Available AxesontoH,S, orLto assign them. - Drag a colored axis back into
Available Axesto clear that channel. - Edit the start/end numeric fields for each channel range.
- Click
Recolor Layoutto apply the updated coloring.
The mapping is per tab and is defined on the root input axes of the current layout operation.
Video:
Use the Cell Text widget to overlay root-input label values on cells.
- One checkbox is shown per root input label.
- Checked labels are drawn on every visible tensor.
Text is derived from the root input coordinate that maps to each cell, so every visible tensor shows consistent labels for the same underlying element.

From the Display menu:
Toggle Block Gaps: show or hide spacing between higher-level layout blocks.Toggle Dimension Lines: show or hide tensor outlines, dimension guides, and axis labels.
These can also be changed from the sidebar widgets where available.

Use File -> Save as SVG to export the current 2D view.
- Shortcut:
Ctrl+S - The SVG includes tensor names, dimension lines, axis labels, cell colors, and supported overlays visible in the current 2D view.

- GitHub Pages serves the static frontend only.
- The local Python demo can additionally serve
/api/session.jsonand tensor payload files.
