Slow performance

On the low-end PCs often after taking damage for a few seconds, the number does not change hearts. This is a very annoying way. So I can eating a something, but hunger will change after 2 or 3 seconds.

And you are sure it is related to this mod? General problem is that currently damage like falling, drowning is handled this way:
(client) falldamage -> (server) damage event -> (client) update hud

So we basically send known values around the world and over a (often) lacking server util it get applied to client.

But more informations anyway: Is the server lacking in general (e.g. placing blocks or "sliding mobs")? What hud and what hunger version you use? other mods?
