Clean up build files, add contributor readme #6
Description
Most of the build files in the repo are not actually used by maintainers and can be removed and the repo is lacking an explanation of how to set it up.
We should look at other addons for the commonly accepted way to set up source repositories (I'm working on a .bat file that will make this easier in the future) and follow those same practices.
