Run of Add-In does not start http://localhost:9100 server. How to debug? #1

Experienced Fusion360 user. I have built and run a few rudimentary script add-ons previously.
Experienced LLM & MCP & HTTP software engineer.

Encouraged by the voluminous how-to for the official AutoDesk MCP service for Fusion360.
The instructions for installation are simple and typical: download directory and add as plugin, run.
Unfortunately, the plugin is supposed to start a server on port 9100 for the other applications to connect into as an MCP.
None of this is visible from the changes to Fusion360 when the Add-On is run, and a ping to localhost:9000 shows no server.

Can you advise? Blocker.
