Summary

When trying to save :
Saving timed out after 10 seconds. Check gateway/API and try again.

2. claude setup-token
3. copy/paste and tried to save

Thanks for the report. Ive triaged this as a bug and logged it internally as WEB-103, but it still needs a clean repro. Please add the exact Core version/tag, OS, and any gateway or browser console logs around the save request so we can tell whether this is a dashboard timeout, auth/proxy problem, or settings persistence failure.

Backfilling current DEV-cycle scope onto this issue so it is visible publicly:

• the immediate symptom is the final onboarding save timing out or appearing frozen
• the broader work is setup persistence hardening plus visible progress during the final save phase
• current work is focused on making onboarding writes deterministic, reducing long final-save stalls, and surfacing clearer progress/errors instead of a generic timeout

This issue remains relevant as the public tracker for the final setup save failure mode.
