Hello, first of all, I'm sorry if this is an stupid question, but I have read your blog document about the reverse engineering, and I can see by the end that you say I should create a task to replace the cleaning service.

So, does that mean the program needs to be executed everytime the laptop powers on? I thought I needed to just execute it one time. And should the task be on everytime? Just after the boot?

Yes. This program should execute once after each system boot.
However, whether it needs to run when the system resumes from sleep or hibernation requires you to test on your own. In my case, it is also necessary for my device.
So I chose to run it once every time at login. Repeated execution has little impact on performance, and Huawei's services operate in this manner as well :)

The mechanism of the program is to set a runtime variable in the BIOS through WMI, which resets every time after a reboot. As long as this variable has not been reset, the effect can still persist. Resuming the system from sleep or hibernation may also reset this variable.

Hello again, first of all thank you very much for your help! I made the program execute every time after users logs in, and it works really good on a brand new HONOR Magicbook Art 14 Snapdragon X Elite without the --new option. I thought it could work since Huawei and HONOR have a lot in common.
